What Verdant collects
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. If you connect Google Calendar, we read your free/busy windows and write events for the sessions Verdant schedules — nothing else. We store the learning plans, journal entries, and ratings you create inside the app.
How we use it
To generate, schedule, and adapt your learning plan. Plan content (your goal, deadline, and starter resources) is sent to OpenAI to draft and refine plans; OpenAI does not train on this data per their API policy. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Where it lives
Your data lives in a Postgres database hosted by Neon and is served through Vercel. Both providers operate in the United States.
Your choices
You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in Settings. To delete your account and all associated data, email the address below and we will remove it within 7 days.
